What's a handmade bike?
Long ago in our distant past, before the Internet, cell phones and Tik Tok, there were bicycles made with by hand, with a lightning rod, and material cut with three-phase electric bandsaws in somebody's barn. These bicycles were difficult to make, labors of love, and for many, they are forgotten relics of the past... Until one mops the floor with you.
This practice is still in play today. So whether you're riding a 30 year old or 1 year old handmade bicycle, both are valid: tips of our hat to a magical craft very few know today. These people are known as makers.
